How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them?  And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!”  Romans 10:14-15

Every staff member of YWAM (17,000 worldwide) is responsible to raise financial sponsorship through the gifts of friends, family, churches and businesses who believe in the ministry. This not only meets the needs of the worker, but also draws the heart of the giver into what God is doing in the world (Matt 6:21).  Some give monthly, others give to special projects, and some give annual/renewable gifts as the Lord leads.
